This is Cedric the tortoise, he's a proper character, tenacious, faster than you'd imagine and hugely entertaining, he usually lives in the garden through the Spring/Summer/Autumn, though we've always boxed him up for his winter hibernation. Last Autumn though he disappeared before I could box him, it was the first time he'd gone off and self hibernated, and to be honest it's been a bit of a worry, especially with the wet winter we've endured. This afternoon though he reappeared. Huzzah!
