Badbury

We made our way up towards the hilltop along a colourfully lined drove, all the colours of autumns palette were represented in the tight hedges that channelled us toward our destination. The multivated hilltop and former stronghold of the Durotriges of Badbury Rings is still this morning, not even the sheep huddling around the trees who now hold tenure of the defended hill were stirring. It was lovely.
