A nice haul of fungi this morning, some hedgehogs (Hydnum
repandum), some ceps (Boletus edulis) and a chunk of cauliflower fungus (Sparassis crispa), all collected with a wild mushroom risotto in mind. The forest remains very dry though and what little rain is falling doesn't appear to be soaking in, more draining off into the rivers, with streams rising fast and falling just as quickly. We'll need to have far more rain to enjoy a good mushroom season this year.
