Urgh! You'd be amazed at how many times I've picked up these small oxygen absorber pouches of late, a particularly problematic piece of garbage being unsafe for animals to eat. It's a new phenomena too. I'm not sure why, or what they're coming from, but they appear a growing problem.

Why can't we have nice things?
Why can't we have nice things? The answer is simple, we're arsehats.
Over half a mile from parking, in a lovely section of Rhinefield Sandys,
a carrier bag worth of mixed shite scattered amongst the stands;
bottles, cans, various packaging, sites of two unsuccessful attempts at
fires, even quite a substantial lounger. We can agree, arsehats. I
reckoned the lounger was half inched from the swanky Rhinefield House about 500
meters east; a cursory scan of their page confirmed, yes, it is indeed
one of their loungers! It crossed my mind this could be the work of
privileged arsehats, an insidious cohort of arsehat, too often
overlooked by the media class in favour of their sustained assault on
the disadvantaged. Of course, an arsehat is an arsehat. I believe though
that connecting younglings to nature from an early age would go a
long way to helping, you're less likely to shit on something you've
developed an emotional bond with. Anyway, behaviour like this is why we can't have
nice things.

All that glitters
All that glitters isn't necessarily gold, no, sometimes it's just shite left behind by morons! I mean what the f*ck, man! I never fail to be bewildered by people's proclivity for the illogical; in this case that 'they' can carry the full, and therefore heavier, cans out, though find it impossible to carry the lighter crushable empty cans home; or more pertinently, that 'they' must, I imagine, choose these spots for their unspoilt beauty, and then effectively do a big shit on them by leaving their crap behind when 'they' leave; you find this weird behaviour replicated at so many of our beauty spots. So lazy, such ignorance; it's all about 'them'. I mean what the f*ck, man!

Sea Glass Ball
I spotted a ball of sea glass amongst the pebble and sand on this mornings walk. Probably, no definitely, a marble from an old Codd necked bottle, the type used to hold fizzy pop and other carbonated drinks back in the day. I don't know if they even make those type of bottle anymore? They may do. Nice find. It got me thinking, you don't see as much sea glass as you used to, or is it maybe that I just don't register it? I must pay more attention.

Bastards!
If there's one thing that gets right up my nose (that's clearly misleading as plenty of stuff gets up my nose, some would say I'm a moaning bastard), it's ignorant selfish fuckwits who can carry stuff out into the forest or the coast or wherever, and then once they've had their fun, just leave it. I just don't get it! They've obviously come out the forest because it's beautiful, they've carried stuff out to the forest when it's full and yet they find impossible to carry their empties home and leave said beautiful spot soiled, they can't even bury the shit they leave behind. What's that all about? I can't get my head around the paradoxes. Ignorance rules Britannia.

The arse end of a car!
Walking along the edge of Ridley Wood this evening we came upon the arse end of a car, well, the tail bumper anyway. A strange find, made stranger as the busy A31 (the closest road) is some 500m away. How the flip did it get right over here? It must have been one hell of of a crash, or maybe a giant Magpie carried it here. I don't know. It's a mystery! Oh, hang on! As it happens, this bumper turned out to be a prophetic sign, man, as the friend who drove this evening ripped his rear bumper off on a stumpy post as we left the car park. Similar colour vehicle too. Weird!
