Storms Austen and Boelo certainly wreaked havoc through the forest, there are fallen boughs and shattered trunks wherever you walk. Many of them old trees too, very sad. It wasn't helped by the trees not having dropped their leafs yet. The face of the forest is changing, whether through habitat restoration or high winds the forest is becoming a more open landscape.
