Oh hurrah and hussar! When I went down to the woods today I was in for a pleasant surprise. The rains have worked their magic awakening the mycelium prompting them to burst forth their fruits. It's as is they know they're late and that the opportunity to fruit maybe limited, subsequently they're determined to push out as many fruiting bodies as they can. They're not out all over, but where they are out, they're out out, there are over 30 in the top photo alone. Amazing.
