A muted misty morning in what remains of Markway enclosure. Created in 1960 Markway was a short lived enclosure, today nearly all the Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) and Corsican Pine (Pinus nigra) planted then are gone, though a thin border of blocks like these juvenile Beech (Fagus sylvatica) remain.
