A rare find, a Violet Web Cap (Cortinarius violaceus) although recorded
as edible, it's rare and comes from a poisonous family, so probably best
just admired. It really stood out amongst the fading forest flora about it and my picture doesn't really give the depth of this mushrooms colour justice. So purple.
