It doesn't take much Sun to wake the wood ants (Formica rufa), and the inhabitants of every ant hill we passed this morning were all wide awake.

RYHOPE RANGER: United Kingdom; is a husband, a father and friend, a tree hugging bare footed hippy type archaeologist, a polytheistic pagan, a would be artist and would be many things, music loving comic /graphic / book reading, bushcraft adventurist, space cadet, loser and nature loving woodland mentalist.
